I cut ties with someone who changed my life for the better but I didn’t see that at the time. 

I broke things off with my rollercoaster ride of a toxic relationship. It got really ugly.

🫠police were called
🫠 friends and family harassed 
🫠 words were said

A year ago today I would have had a million and one nasty ways to describe this person but today I’m grateful. 

I’ve realized that it takes 2️⃣ to tango

👉🏼I definitely had my part in letting the relationship go on for so long. 

👉🏼I had weak boundaries and in a sense I let myself down.

I swore I’d never let myself be treated like that but it’s so different when you’re in it.

It was a lesson learned and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sure it sucked in the moment but its those times where we really evolve. 

I’m sure all of you know what heart break feels like, it hurts and you don’t really know what to do with yourself. 

So, 

I started blogging more religiously as an outlet.

I took this year to focus on myself, build my blog, focus on relationships that deserved my effort, started coaching, and ya know what?

💪🏼I’m so fucking proud.💪🏼

Take this as a reminder that you deserve to be surrounded by people who love and support you 💯 

chose love over hate because at the end of the day, grudges only hurt yourself ❤️

We’ve all been there 👉🏼 you get home from a hard day at work, you’re stressed, maybe you just got dumped, whatever the case is

Feeling down is a part of life and no one is immune to it

There are not so helpful ways to cope with situations:

❌ like binge eating
❌ drinking
❌ avoiding 
❌ or smoking

And there are healthier ways to cope that admittedly don’t offer quite as big of a dopamine hit BUT will benefit you in the long run

✅ meditation
✅ exercise 
✅ take a bath
✅ call a close friend
✅ therapy 
✅ journaling
✅ any hobby that brings you peace

I used to use binge eating for any Situation I wanted out of, didn’t really matter what I was feeling my solution was to eat.

That didn’t serve me and at some point you need to get real with yourself and want to change your ways. 

It’s hard but worth it🥰
